Technical Director

Experience: 15 to 20 years

We are looking for an experienced Technical Director to lead our technology strategy, oversee technical architecture, and drive the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organization's technology strategy and technical roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Lead and mentor engineering managers, architects, technical leads, and development teams.
• Oversee the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications and platforms.
• Drive architectural decisions, technology selection, engineering standards, and best practices.
• Ensure successful delivery of complex technology projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Establish and monitor engineering KPIs, delivery metrics, and performance benchmarks.
• Drive innovation, automation, cloud adoption, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Manage technical risks, resolve critical escalations, and ensure effective problem resolution.
• Support pre-sales activities, solution design, effort estimation, proposals, and client presentations, where required.
• Manage technology budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, technology leadership, or enterprise solution delivery.
• Proven experience leading large engineering teams and managing complex technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, distributed systems, and enterprise application development.
• Experience in design, development, and modernization of enterprise-grade applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Angular.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of modern technology stacks, APIs, microservices, databases, DevOps, CI/CD, and security best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical strategies and actionable execution plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital transformation and enterprise-scale technology modernization.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and engineering governance.
• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications.
• Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.
