About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer as a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our software development team. As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that helps our customers and internal teams understand and utilize our software products effectively.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Documentation Development:
• Create, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation for our software products, including user guides, API documentation, installation guides, release notes, and FAQs.
• Develop content that explains complex technical information in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with software developers, product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand the functionality and requirements of the software.
• Participate in product design and development meetings to gain a deep understanding of the product and contribute to usability improvements.
• Content Management:
• Organize and manage documentation..
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date with the latest software releases and features.
• User-Centric Approach:
• Focus on the needs of the end-users to create user-friendly documentation that enhances the overall user experience.
• Incorporate user feedback to continuously improve the quality and usability of documentation.
• Standards and Guidelines:

Skills and experience required for this role:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Technical Writer in the software or other technology industries.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics is a requirement for this role.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, user-friendly language for a non-technical audience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in documentation tools and software, such as Google Docs, Wordpress, or other relevant platforms.
• Familiarity with version control systems and documentation best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
