Technical Consultant & Subject Matter Expert DevOps / SRE / Cloud / Platform
Role Purpose
Brisa Technologies is seeking an experienced cloud and infrastructure engineering professional to engage with customers, understand their engineering and talent requirements, and support candidate readiness.
The primary requirement is the ability to hold credible, in-depth technical conversations with customer managers, cloud architects, platform leads, and senior operations engineers. The consultant will visit customer locations, build trusted relationships, clarify job descriptions and assessment expectations, and guide recruiters and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit Brisa's customer locations and build rapport with technical teams, hiring managers, and senior cloud, platform, and infrastructure personnel.
• Discuss cloud architecture, deployment workflows, infrastructure automation, production reliability, and operational challenges.
• Understand customer JDs and clarify the distinction between DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering, and platform engineering requirements.
• Establish mandatory technologies, expected hands-on experience, seniority, operational responsibilities, and technical interview criteria.
• Convert customer discussions into concise requirement notes, recruiter screening guidance, and candidate preparation plans.
• Prepare candidates to explain infrastructure designs, automation implementations, deployment decisions, troubleshooting approaches, and incident experience.
• Conduct technical screening or mock interviews when required and provide actionable feedback.
• Coordinate with recruitment, account management, and delivery teams to improve candidate requirement alignment.

Required Experience and Technical Expertise

• Around 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, technical consulting, or technology leadership.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, CI/CD, Terraform/Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of Python or shell scripting, Linux administration, and networking.
• Ability to discuss monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, root-cause analysis, availability, and recovery.
• Understanding of SRE concepts and platform engineering practices, including reliability objectives, reusable infrastructure, and developer self-service.
• Exposure to Azure, Helm, GitOps, Ansible, and DevSecOps is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.

• Confidence and credibility in technical conversations with senior customer stakeholders.
• Ability to probe implementation details and distinguish tool familiarity from production experience.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, documentation, and candidate-coaching skills.
• Sound judgement in assessing technical fit across infrastructure, delivery automation, and reliability roles.

Work Arrangement and Success Measures

• Customer-facing consulting role requiring visits to Brisa's customer locations two to three days a week.
• Flexible coordination with customers, candidates, and internal teams.
• Success measured by customer trust, requirement clarity, quality of sourcing guidance, candidate readiness, and technical fit of shortlisted profiles.
