Technical & Commercial Assistant To CEO

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the CEO in analysing technical, operational and commercial matters related to the steel plant.
• Prepare and analyse product/process costing and cost per tonne.
• Monitor raw material, consumables, power, fuel, maintenance, logistics and other major cost components.
• Analyse actual vs. budgeted/standard costs and identify major variances.
• Support procurement planning, vendor evaluation, quotation comparison and negotiations.
• Analyse landed cost of raw materials and consumables, including freight and logistics.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, deliveries and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, Logistics, Finance, Maintenance and Sales.
• Prepare MIS, dashboards and management reports for the CEO.
• Analyse plant KPIs such as production, yield, consumption, inventory, cost/tonne and profitability.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, procurement savings and operational improvement.
• Support commercial evaluation of major purchases, contracts and business proposals.
• Assist the CEO in special projects, business analysis and strategic initiatives.
