Technical Assistant Manager - Surface Treatment

Role & responsibilities :

1. Lead and manage daily surface treatment operations, including Chemical Etching, Teflon Coating, Electroplating, and Nano Electroplating processes for mold manufacturing.

2. Manage production planning, manpower allocation, task scheduling, and flexible production adjustments to meet business and operational requirements.

3. Establish, implement, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process standards, technical documentation, and assigned tasks from management to ensure process consistency and operational excellence.

4. Ensure surface treatment activities meet quality, lead-time, productivity, and Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) requirements.

5. Operate and oversee wastewater treatment equipment and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, chemical handling requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or Post graduate in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology or a related field.

2. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in footwear and strong technical expertise in Surface Treatment and 2 years of experience in leading or mentoring technical teams.

3. Demonstrated ability to develop SOPs, establish standard processes, and provide technical training and knowledge transfer.

4. Experience in process improvement and technical problem-solving is preferred.

5. Knowledge of local labor & environment laws and compliance requirements related to working hours, attendance management, and employee administration.
