Technical Assistant For CNC Grinding Machine

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation and setup of CNC grinding machines used in precision tool manufacturing.
• Support production activities to ensure smooth and efficient machine operation.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and dimensional specifications.
• Monitor machining operations and maintain product quality.
• Perform dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers and gauges.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications
• Identify machining issues and report machine abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow preventive maintenance practices.
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve production targets.
  

Educational Qualification

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in CNC grinding, CNC machining or precision engineering will be preferred.
• Experience in cutting tool manufacturing or precision grinding will be an added advantage.
  

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of CNC machine operation.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of dimensional tolerances and quality inspection.
  Good technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn CNC grinding operations and precision manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and a quality-oriented approach.
