Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Architect with 10+ years of experience in software engineering and strong expertise in Node.js and backend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.
• Own complete backend architecture and system design for large-scale applications.
• Make architectural and technology decisions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Design and implement REST APIs and API architecture.
• Design and develop microservices and distributed systems.
• Define database architecture and data management strategies.
• Design caching strategies for high-performance applications.
• Implement message queues and event-driven architectures.
• Design authentication and security mechanisms.
• Integrate third-party services and external systems.
• Define and implement cloud architecture.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, availability, and performance of backend systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Establish architecture standards, best practices, and technical governance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and backend development.
• Proven experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Backend Architect.
• Strong experience in backend architecture and system design.
• Strong understanding of:
• REST APIs and API architecture
• Microservices
• Distributed systems
• Database architecture

• Message queues / Event-driven architecture
• Authentication and security
• Third-party integrations
