Role overview
The Technical Architect is responsible for defining scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions aligned with business objectives. This role provides architectural leadership across the project lifecycle, establishes technical standards, and guides engineering teams in delivering cloud-native and enterprise-grade applications.
Key responsibilities
• Define and own solution architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Design cloud-native, distributed, and scalable application architectures.
• Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and technical best practices.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical solution discussions.
• Ensure security, scalability, maintainability, and performance considerations are embedded in design.
• Drive adoption of microservices, integration patterns, and modern application architectures.
• Review technical designs and provide guidance to development teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and engineering teams.
• Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.
Qualifications & skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in enterprise solution architecture and system design.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Expertise in microservices architecture, API design, and integration patterns.
• Strong knowledge of security-by-design principles and architectural governance.
• Experience with performance optimization, scalability planning, and technical reviews.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
