Technical Analyst - Trade Finance

• Manage endtoend processing for inward/outward remittances, LRS transactions, and trade products (Imports, Exports, LC, BC, BG, Trade Loans preferred).
• Validate and reconcile transaction data across CBS, OBPM, SWIFT interface, and reporting platforms.
• Ensure accurate application of charges, FX rates, value dates (TOM/SPOT), and accounting entries.
• Configure, validate, and troubleshoot SWIFT MT message types (MT103 / 202 / 202COV / 199 / 299 / 940 / 950).
• Handle message field mapping, data transformation, repairs, rejections, and resend workflows.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for message investigations and rectifications.
• Exposure to ISO 20022 (MX) payment formats is an added advantage.

• Strong command of Oracle SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, analytics) and PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, bulk operations, exception handling).
• Optimize complex SQL queries, views, materialized views, and PL/SQL objects.
• Experience in performance tuning (execution plans, hints, indexing, SQL trace, AWR/ASH basics).
• Build and maintain MIS, reconciliation reports, and regulatory extracts (e.g., FETERS datasets).

• Provide postgolive assistance including incident triage, RCA, and permanent fixes.
• Ensure platform stability through proactive job monitoring, system controls, and runbook maintenance.
• Track and manage issues using Jira/ITSM workflows.

• Experience with ISO 20022 payment messages, MTMX mapping, and Rtransactions.
• Understanding of Treasury products (forwards, swaps) and hedge accounting fundamentals.
• Familiarity with GPI/UETR tracking, sanctions screening systems, and repair queues.
• Knowledge of regulatory processes such as FETERS reporting and AD code management.
• Scripting skills in Python for automation; knowledge of SAS, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
• Awareness of FEMA/RBI guidelines for LRS and crossborder remittances.
• Ability to maintain process documentation, BRDs, mapping sheets, and Jira traceability.
