Operations Manager Procurement

Job Title: Operations Manager – Procurement
Location: Pune – Hinjewadi
Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO)
Experience: Around 15 years
Notice Period: Immediate joiners to maximum 30 days

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager – Procurement with a strong background in procurement operations/shared services and hands-on expertise in SAP. The ideal candidate should have proven people management experience, including managing a team of 30+ members, along with strong client/stakeholder management and escalation-handling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement operations, including the procurement helpdesk.
• Oversee PR/PO management and the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
• Utilize SAP MM/P2P for procurement operations, monitoring, and process management.
• Manage vendor evaluation, RFQ/RFP processes, negotiations, and vendor onboarding.
• Oversee invoice processing, 3-way matching, dispute resolution, and timely payment coordination.
• Monitor operational dashboards, KPIs, SLAs, and performance reports.
• Prepare and present management reports using Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and operational targets.
• Handle operational escalations and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Lead, mentor, and manage a 30+ member procurement operations team.
• Drive team productivity, process compliance, service quality, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP, preferably SAP MM / P2P
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), PR/PO, and procurement operations
• Procurement operations/shared services experience
• Vendor management and RFQ/RFP experience
• Invoice processing and 3-way matching
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Dashboard, KPI, and performance reporting
• Strong client and stakeholder management
• Excellent escalation-management skills
• Proven experience managing 30+ team members
• Strong communication and people-management skills

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline
• MBA is an added advantage

• Comfortable with Work from Office

• Approximately 15 years of relevant experience
