Tech Lead - Golang

Responsibilities:

• Provide strong technical leadership and solve complex engineering problems efficiently.
• Drive projects end-to-end, from architecture and design to development, deployment, and optimisation.
• Build highly scalable, reliable, low-latency backend services and REST APIs.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Business teams to translate requirements into rapid, impactful solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical and organisational bottlenecks.
• Establish engineering best practices, documentation, and development standards.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve engineering efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Align engineering initiatives with short- and long-term business goals.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong Golang expertise.
• Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.
• Proven experience building scalable, high-performance, highly available, low-latency distributed systems and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of DSA, system design, scalability, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with service-oriented/distributed architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, and/or Kafka.
• Fintech experience across investments, trading, wealth management, or market analytics is a plus.
• Exposure to GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker is preferred.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and experience working in startup/high-growth environments.
