Tech Architect - NodeJS / Backend Architecture

Key Responsibilities

Own the complete backend architecture for complex and enterprise-grade applications. Design scalable backend systems using NodeJS. Define end-to-end architecture covering APIs, services, databases, integrations, security, scalability, performance, and deployment. Design and guide implementation of microservices, distributed systems, and API-driven architectures. Evaluate existing backend systems and drive architectural improvements. Define technology standards, design patterns, coding practices, and engineering best practices. Review technical designs and code and provide hands-on architectural guidance to engineering teams. Work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. Lead resolution of complex architectural, performance, scalability, and integration challenges. Provide technical mentorship and direction to senior engineers and development teams.

10+ years of experience in software engineering with strong backend expertise. Deep expertise in NodeJS and backend development. Proven experience as a Technical Architect / Solution Architect / Backend Architect. Strong experience in complete backend architecture and system design. Strong understanding of:
