JOB PURPOSE
This role is responsible for supporting the Corporate Legal team by preparing detailed research, summaries, and synopses of legal cases. The role involves maintaining and circulating legal MIS, assisting in policy modifications, and providing legal support for matters related to Adani Schools and Colleges.
- Bachelors Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- Masters Degree in Law (LL.M.) will be an added advantage.
- 5-7 years of experience in Corporate Legal, Contract Management, Litigation Support, and Compliance.
- Experience working with multiple business verticals and corporate functions.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including MoUs, Service Agreements, Purchase Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, and other business contracts.
- Ensure contractual terms adequately protect the organizations legal and commercial interests.
- Support complex transactions through legal review and risk assessment of critical documents.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to business functions across multiple verticals.
- Assist stakeholders in interpreting contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Identify legal risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with external counsel on corporate and commercial litigation matters.
- Monitor ongoing cases and attend hearings, where required.
- Assist in preparing legal documentation, case summaries, and management updates.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Track legal and regulatory developments impacting the organization.
- Support implementation of compliance frameworks and risk management initiatives.
- Conduct research on legal and regulatory matters.
- Prepare legal opinions, case notes, updates, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain legal databases, records, and documentation repositories.
- Provide legal support to diverse business units including IT, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, ESG, Sports, Petrochemicals, and other corporate functions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate business initiatives while ensuring legal compliance.
- Build strong working relationships across departments to deliver effective legal solutions.
