- Plan and Preparedness - Contingency Plan # Disaster Risk Reduction / Disaster Mitigation Plan
- Build capacities of NGOs, CBOs, Youths and other key stakeholders on Disaster preparedness / Disaster Mitigation
- Carry out disaster risk assessment # Hazard Risk Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA) in disaster hotspots
- Develop plan for reducing the damage caused by natural hazards such as floods, droughts and cyclones
- Identify vulnerable location and mobilise community in very high and high climate vulnerable districts for programme intervention
- Conduct trainings for community / stakeholder in Disaster preparedness / Disaster Mitigation
- Coordination with grassroots / community stakeholders for effective implementation of the standard operating procedures based disaster preparedness / disaster mitigation
- Conduct capacity building for selected individuals(volunteers) in the areas of Disaster Risk.
- Build the partnerships with various stakeholders for effective implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction
- The DRR team members in the State to keep track of the weather advisories that are circulated in case of an extreme weather event.
- For Disaster Response all team members that are based out of districts in the State are the Main Point of Contact.
- Necessary: Graduation / Post Graduation in Climate Change / Environmental Science / Natural Resource Management / Disaster Management
- Desired: Development Sector
- Necessary: Minimum 2 years of disaster management/response experience
- Desired: community based Disaster Risk Reduction / Mitigation plan
