Team Member - Design (Mechatronics)

Purpose of the Role:

1.Responsible for end-to-end ownership of PLC software development across projects and NPD initiatives.

2.Design, develop, test, and commission PLC-based control software for industrial machines and automation systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation in line with project requirements and applicable standards.

Roles & Accountabilities:

• Work on PLC platforms such as Siemens , Mitsubishi, CNC - Fanuc, Siemens, Robotics - Kuka, ABB, Staubli
• Review and approve PLC programs, HMI screens for machine operation, interlocks, alarms, safety logic, and diagnostics
• Support integration of PLCHMI–Drives–Robotics–Vision–SCADA systems and other control components
• Estimate effort, plan resources, and track progress against project milestones
• Maintains project database
• Manage technical risks, change requests, and issue resolution during execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Standardized PLC software architecture & reusable libraries
• Reliable, well-documented PLC code with diagnostics and alarm handling
• Field support as well as online support for troubleshooting issues
• Responsible for the commissioning support in the domestic & overseas customer’s place
• Document designs for Projects / Products support and efficient development of successive product generations.
• Design, configure, and integrate machine vision systems for inspection, guidance, identification, and quality control
• Design and develop operator-friendly front-end interfaces for machines and automation systems
