Team Member - Business Finance

Principal Accountabilities

• Assist in Fund Planning - Conduct comprehensive analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and financial benchmarks to inform strategic planning and budgeting decisions. Provide the Head of Department with insights on surplus funds availability and assist in planning investor returns
• Fund Raising & Deal Management - Deliver accurate financial models for project feasibility and deal evaluations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals. Prepare detailed fund planning documents and strategy notes for individual deals, supporting the BD team in finalizing deals and structuring investments. Collaborate with the BD team to review all assumptions in project feasibility models, providing input on cash utilization and tax efficiency to enhance deal structures. Lead the preparation and submission of financial reports to credit rating agencies, SEBI, and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with reporting timelines and accuracy. Track Internal Rate of Return (IRR) agreed upon with investors and address any deviations promptly. Gather relevant project data from the BD and Sales teams for investor pitch preparation and maintain a repository of project data for future reference. Monitor competitors' fundraising activities and market funding trends to inform BD team strategies during land acquisition deals. Ensure adherence to commercial conditions outlined in development agreements with Joint Venture Partners (JVPs). Seek guidance from Head of the department on finance-related matters and facilitate resolution to ensure regulatory compliance
• Stakeholder Relationship Management - Act as the primary point of contact for investor relations, ensuring timely delivery of financial data and addressing investor queries in coordination with the Head of Department. Conclude formalities with investors to ensure disbursements occur according to the agreed schedule. Share information and data with investors, JV partners etc according to the agreed frequency and address investor queries within the agreed-upon turnaround time
• MIS Reporting & Analysis - Generate detailed MIS reports to support deal evaluations, financial performance analysis, and investor updates. Provide ongoing insights from real estate research, market trends, and competitor activities to support BD team strategies and decision-making during land acquisitions
• Digitization & Data Assurance - Propose automation interventions for areas under scope. Implement finalised automation intervention in collaboration with various stakeholders. Ensure effective usage of the automation interventions.
