Team Member - Banking

Purpose/Objective

The Team Member – Banking & Finance is responsible for assisting in banking transactions, fund management, compliance activities, and financial documentation.
The role ensures smooth financial operations, coordination with lenders, credit monitoring, and regulatory compliance, supporting senior financial leaders in maintaining accurate records, facilitating transactions, and ensuring adherence to corporate financial policies.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Team Member - Banking & Finance Banking Operations & Credit Management: Assist in reviewing and managing AEL’s banking limits, ensuring smooth banking operations and compliance with financial policies.
Work with lenders for banking sanctions, documentation, and approvals, ensuring timely processing of financial agreements.
Support the tracking of cash flows and fund disbursements, ensuring banking transactions are recorded accurately.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations related to credit facilities and loan agreements, working in coordination with internal teams.
Fundraising & Documentation: Prepare documentation and support coordination with counsels for compliance-related financial transactions.
Assist in managing workstreams related to public financial issues, including Qualified Institutional Placements (QIPs) and Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs).
Compile and consolidate financial data requirements to support internal and external financial reporting needs.
Work with finance teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records required for fundraising activities.
Financial Ratings & Compliance: Support updates on consolidated financial projections and assist in working with credit rating agencies to ensure timely submission of financial information.
Provide accurate and structured data support to external rating agencies and internal financial teams for compliance reporting.
Ensure documentation and consolidation of financial data requirements, aligning with corporate governance and financial policies.
Assist in tracking compliance with financial regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with external reporting standards.
Investor Relations & Reporting: Support investor meetings by preparing financial data and reports, ensuring AEL’s financial performance is communicated effectively.
Assist in working with analysts to provide financial coverage and updates, supporting investor engagement activities.
Contribute to the preparation of quarterly earnings calls and investor deck updates, ensuring clear financial reporting.
Assist in preparing board meeting decks, committee meeting presentations, and working papers, ensuring structured financial reporting for stakeholders.
