Deputy Manager / Manager – Finance & Accounts (F&A)

Function: Finance | Experience: 2+ years | Location: Plant / Corporate Office – Vasind

Role Objective

Enable business & support the leadership through strong financial analysis, and decision support by delivering accurate forecasts on varied areas, insightful MIS, and actionable variance analysis aligned to Business Plan (ABP/MBP). Focus on Large Capex projects ROI's & Payback with cost escalations if any

Key Accountabilities

• Support the CFO with budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long‑range plans in alignment with business strategy
• Prepare management dashboards with clear variance analysis vs Budget / Forecast / MBP
• Analyzing key drivers impacting revenue, margins, costs, working capital, and ROCE for Monthly COCs and Exe committee meetings
• Support on Board presentations and decks along with ACM agenda
• Support capex evaluations, project appraisals, and business cases through robust financial modeling across all COE projects
• Provide decision‑oriented insights and concise commentary to senior management
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, governance standards, and reporting timelines
• Working capital & Payables forecasting
• Focus on use of AI tools for forecasting and analytics
  
  

Key Skills & Capabilities

• Strong expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, and variance analysis
• Ability to convert data into clear business insights and recommendations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• High attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach
• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to ERP / BI tools (SAP, Power BI, Copilot) preferred
  
  

Qualifications

• CA / MBA (Finance) from IIM only
• Experience in manufacturing / metals / large corporate environment preferred
