About this role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team in APM Terminals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual tasks such as unloading, picking, packing, and more.
Roles and Responsibility - Manage and supervise a team of warehouse associates/operators/workers to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate with the quality control team to maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms and stand for long periods.
