Team Leader_Telesales / Telecalling (Telecom/CPaaS)

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of telecallers responsible for outbound calling, lead generation, and customer engagement.
• Assign daily calling targets and monitor individual and team performance.
• Track daily calls, qualified leads, follow-ups, appointments, and conversions.
• Ensure timely follow-ups with prospects and maintain an updated lead database.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to improve calling quality and productivity.
• Monitor call quality, communication skills, objection handling, and sales pitch effectiveness.
• Help team members handle customer queries and overcome sales objections.
• Coordinate with the field sales team to schedule client meetings and transfer qualified leads.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management.
• Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans to achieve team targets.
• Ensure proper usage of CRM tools, sales trackers, and reporting systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• 35 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, inside sales, or customer acquisition.
• At least 1–2 years of experience managing or leading a telecalling/telesales team.
• Strong understanding of outbound calling, lead generation, and follow-up management.
• Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in target setting, performance monitoring, and team productivity management.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
