About this role
- Lead, coach, and mentor onshore and offshore team members to ensure productivity, accuracy, and timely refund resolution.
- Research, audit, and process patient and third-party payer refunds in accordance with client requirements.
- Investigate credit balances and determine refund eligibility based on account activity, payer guidelines, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct daily quality audits of refund packets to ensure completeness, accuracy, and prevention of duplicate refund requests.
- Monitor refund trackers, SharePoint records, outstanding refunds, and follow-up activities to ensure timely closure.
- Oversee the weekly clearing of approved credits and ensure accurate refund reconciliation before month-end.
- Prepare and submit monthly credit balance reports to clinics by the 10th of each month.
- Analyze refund errors, identify root causes, and implement process improvements to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and job aids while monitoring team performance and workload distribution.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulatory guidelines while meeting client expectations, service levels, and quality standards.
