Team Leader / Pricing Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader / Pricing Manager to establish and lead our Mumbai-based Rates/Pricing Team, handling international freight pricing inquiries with a strong focus on USA trade lanes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Mumbai Rates/Pricing Team.
• Handle Ocean & Air pricing for USA import/export shipments.
• Manage FCL/LCL, EXW, FOB, DAP and DDP pricing requirements.
• Handle Project Cargo and special cargo pricing where applicable.
• Coordinate with carriers, co-loaders, overseas offices, agents and vendors.
• Manage pricing inquiries from WCA and global freight forwarding networks.
• Negotiate competitive rates and ensure quick quotation turnaround.
• Review inquiries, quotations and follow-ups until closure.
• Coordinate with the USA team and ensure smooth transition of pricing activities.
• Monitor team performance, response time and conversion of inquiries.
• Lead, train and develop the pricing support team.

Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics.
• Strong hands-on experience in Ocean, Air and Project Cargo pricing.
• Strong practical experience in USA trade lanes.
• Experience in both import and export pricing involving USA.
• Experience dealing with overseas agents and freight forwarding networks.
• Strong negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Candidates with practical USA pricing exposure will be preferred.
