Team Leader - Medical Coding

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of medical coders in the US Healthcare industry, ensuring accurate and timely coding of patient records using CPT, ICD, HCPCS codes.
• Develop and implement effective training programs for new hires to ensure they meet performance standards within a specified timeframe.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to resolve billing discrepancies and improve overall revenue cycle management.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in coding processes, making recommendations for process enhancements.

Job Requirements :

• 3-5 years of experience in medical coding (CPC or CRC) with expertise in CMS guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD, HCPCS codes and their applications in US healthcare.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage teams effectively.
