Job Overview

The Team Lead – Business Finance will play a key role in driving financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business performance tracking, and management reporting. This role requires strong financial acumen, hands-on experience in financial modeling, and the ability to generate actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activities (majority of the role 70%), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Track, analyze, and report key business KPIs, providing insights to improve performance.
• Support business teams with financial insights and recommendations.
• Develop a strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and perform detailed variance analysis.
• Prepare and present periodic management reports, including daily/weekly business updates and monthly performance reviews.
• Analyze financial results vs budget/forecast and highlight key risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models (P&L, BS, Cash Flow) with key business drivers and assumptions.
• Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and forecasting models.
• Continuously improve models to enhance accuracy and usability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand performance drivers.
  
  

Educational Qualification

• CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA or equivalent
  
  

Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in Business Finance / FP&A roles
• Experience in corporate, consulting, or high-growth environments preferred.
