Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  
  

Vendor & Payment Management

• Handle vendor payments, invoicing, and ensure timely settlement of dues.
• Monitor ageing reports for outstanding dues and follow up on collections.
  
  

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
  
  

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
  
  

Audit Support

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Provide necessary documentation and resolve audit queries.
  
  

Reconciliation

• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
• Ensure accuracy of trial balance and general ledger accounts.
  
  

Process Improvement

• Identify gaps in accounting processes and recommend improvements.
• Implement best practices for financial control and efficiency.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter/MBA preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
