The Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing, consolidating, analyzing, and delivering accurate and timely reports to support business decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. The analyst will transform data into meaningful insights, create executive-level presentations, maintain reporting databases, and support management with key performance metrics and operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities Reporting Analytics - Prepare, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad-hoc business reports.
- Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports to support business objectives.
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key business insights through data analysis.
- Monitor reporting metrics and recommend process improvements.
- Consolidate data from various systems and departments into standardized reporting formats.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Maintain reporting databases and documentation.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across all reports.
- Coordinate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and clarify data needs.
- Serve as a liaison between operations, finance, technology, and management teams.
- Support management reviews by providing timely reporting and analysis.
- Assist in preparing executive presentations and management updates.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes.
- Leverage reporting tools and technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting and analytics.
- Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Index-Match, Advanced Formulas).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar preferred).
- Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
