Team Lead

Role & responsibilities

A Team Leader - Last Mile at Delhivery oversees daily warehouse and on-ground delivery operations, managing a team of field executives, delivery riders, and vendor labor to ensure shipments meet service targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Execution: Manage inbound and outbound shipments, receiving, sorting, scanning, load optimization, and final dispatch.
• Team Supervision: Lead delivery associates and field workers, plan shift rosters, assign daily routes, and conduct shift briefings.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like productivity, delivery success rate, turnaround time (TAT), and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Compliance & Reporting: Enforce safety regulations, handle escalations regarding undelivered packages or customer issues, and maintain daily MIS reports using Microsoft Excel

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Graduation in any discipline preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, courier, or e-commerce operations.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, basic operational reporting, problem-solving, and communication.
• Work Type: Full-time, on-site role often requiring rotational day and night shifts
