Team Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Transaction Monitoring investigators; on-paper team handling/people management experience is mandatory.
• Handle and oversee investigations across different levels, including L1, L2, L3/complex investigations.
• Review transaction alerts, identify suspicious or unusual activity, and ensure appropriate investigation and disposition.
• Perform case review, escalation, and quality checks for complex and high-risk cases.
• Draft, review, and support the filing/escalation of SAR/STR narratives and Suspicious Activity Reports.
• Ensure timely closure of alerts and cases within defined SLAs, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Manage team performance, productivity, capacity, and adherence to quality standards.
• Provide coaching and subject matter support to team members on complex AML and Financial Crime investigations.
• Coordinate with Compliance, QA, and other stakeholders for escalations and regulatory reporting.
• Drive process improvements, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
