Team Lead US Engineering Recruitment

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead US Engineering Recruitment with strong hands-on experience in recruiting for US Engineering positions and a proven track record of leading a team within the same recruitment vertical.

The ideal candidate must have prior team leadership experience specifically in US Engineering Recruitment.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of US Staffing, W2 Contract and Contract-to-Hire requirements, and experience working with Direct Clients and/or MSP/VMS-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of recruiters handling US Engineering requirements.
• Drive end-to-end recruitment for engineering positions across relevant disciplines, based on client requirements.
• Provide hands-on support to recruiters in sourcing, screening, qualifying, and submitting suitable engineering candidates.
• Manage W2 Contract and Contract-to-Hire job orders for Direct Clients and MSP/VMS-based clients.
• Review job descriptions and understand engineering skill requirements, qualifications, experience, and client expectations.
• Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, Boolean searches, and other sourcing channels to identify qualified candidates.
• Monitor team performance, recruitment pipelines, submissions, interviews, offers, and confirmed placements.
• Coach and mentor recruiters, improve sourcing strategies, and ensure consistent achievement of individual and team targets.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity in the ATS.
• Build strong relationships with candidates, clients, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 5-8 years of overall US Staffing recruitment experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Team Lead experience specifically in US Engineering Recruitment.
• Hands-on recruitment experience in US Engineering positions.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring a team recruiting for US Engineering roles.
• Mandatory experience with W2 Contract and Contract-to-Hire requirements.
• Experience working with Direct Clients and/or MSP/VMS-based clients.
• Strong knowledge of US recruitment practices, compensation structures, work authorization, and relevant employment requirements.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job portals, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, team management, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
