Team Lead - Travel Sales

Role & responsibilities

1. Flight Booking & Ticketing: Handle flight booking inquiries through calls, chats, and emails.
2. Amadeus GDS Operations: Search flight availability, check fares, and prepare quotations using Amadeus GDS.
3. Sales & Lead Conversion: Convert customer inquiries and leads into confirmed flight bookings.
4. Upselling: Promote additional services such as extra baggage, seat selection, and travel insurance.
5. Ticketing & Reissues: Coordinate with airlines and consolidators for ticket issuance, fare holds, and reissues.
6. Customer Service: Handle cancellations, refunds, date changes, and customer escalations.
7. B2B & B2C Sales: Manage corporate clients, travel agents, individual customers, and consolidator relationships.
8. Fare Negotiation: Negotiate competitive fares for group bookings and bulk ticketing.
9. Sales Target Achievement: Meet daily and monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
10. CRM & Documentation: Maintain accurate customer records, booking details, and sales activities in the CRM.
11. Ticketing Accuracy: Ensure correct PNR creation and GDS entries to minimize ticketing errors and Airline Debit Memo (ADM) issues.
12. Team Support & Mentoring: Guide junior team members and support team performance, particularly at the Senior Sales Executive level.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in any stream.
• Prior travel industry experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on knowledge of Amadeus GDS is mandatory.
• Experience in international flight sales and ticketing, preferably US/Canada routes.
• Good English communication, sales, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
• Comfortable with sales targets and US/Canada shifts.
• B2B/B2C sales experience preferred.
• Team handling experience preferred.
