Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead Hospital Billing EDI Rejections to manage EDI rejection resolution, claim corrections, and timely resubmission for Hospital Billing accounts. The role requires strong knowledge of EDI, claim edits, clearinghouse rejections, UB-04 and payer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the Hospital Billing EDI Rejections team and daily operations.
• Monitor and resolve EDI/clearinghouse rejections and claim edit issues.
• Analyze rejection reasons and ensure accurate claim correction and resubmission.
• Handle UB-04 / Institutional claims, payer-specific requirements and billing edits.
• Identify recurring rejection trends and implement RCA & corrective actions.
• Track team performance against productivity, quality, accuracy and TAT metrics.
• Conduct regular audits, feedback sessions and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Billing, AR, Coding, QA and Client teams for issue resolution.
• Prepare and share MIS, rejection reports and performance dashboards.
• Drive process improvement and minimize avoidable EDI rejections.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Hospital Billing / Institutional Billing.
• Hands-on experience in EDI Rejections, Claim Edits & Rejections Management.
• Good understanding of UB-04, CMS-1500, ICD, CPT, HCPCS and Modifiers.
• Knowledge of Clearinghouse, Payer Edits, Claim Scrubbing and EDI workflows.
• Strong analytical, communication and team-management skills.
• Experience handling RCA, quality audits, productivity and SLA/KPI management.
