Team Lead - BI Technical

We are looking for a BI Technical Team Lead with expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and presales to lead technical teams, design analytics solutions, and manage project delivery. The role combines hands-on technical guidance with client engagement and solution proposals.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BI solution design, development, and delivery using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Conduct client discovery workshops and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support presales through solution proposals, demos, proofs of concept, and effort estimates.
• Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, defining technical scope, assumptions, delivery plans, and resource needs.
• Design data pipelines, lakehouses, warehouses, semantic models, and dashboards.
• Review technical designs and code for scalability, performance, and security.
• Establish data quality checks, access controls, and governance standards across BI solutions.
• Plan team workload, track milestones, and manage technical risks and escalations.
• Mentor BI developers, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and promote reusable development practices.
• Maintain solution documentation and coordinate testing, deployment, and support handovers.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query, and ETL/ELT development.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and Azure data services.
• Proven experience in BI team leadership, technical project delivery, and presales.
• Familiarity with version control, deployment processes, and BI performance troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and client presentation skills.
