Job Overview

The Team Lead Recruitment (BFSI) at Novelworx Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment operations, driving volume and niche hiring for top-tier Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) clients, and leading a high-performing team of recruiters. The ideal candidate will possess extensive domain expertise in BFSI hiring, esp Volume Hiring of FOS, Entry-Mid-Senior Level Managerial staffing metrics and strong leadership skills to deliver on strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Management & Performance Delivery

• Recruit,Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HR recruiters, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding targets are achieved.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide hands-on coaching to improve conversion ratios.
• Manage workflow allocation and monitor recruiter productivity against assigned open positions.

2. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with BFSI sector clients (banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, fintech firms) to capture hiring requirements accurately.
• Provide continuous updates to clients regarding delivery pipelines, market challenges, and fulfillment timelines.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Turnaround Time (TAT) metrics.

3. Sourcing Strategy & Delivery

• Drive innovative sourcing channels including job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn), data mining, social media, and internal referrals.
• Organize high-volume walk-in drives, campus hiring, or localized recruitment activities for frontline BFSI roles.
• Maintain robust candidate pipelines for diverse roles, including Sales Officers, Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, Operations, and Collection teams.

4. MIS, Operations & Compliance

• Oversee real-time tracking of recruitment funnels and prepare daily/weekly MIS dashboards for internal business reviews.
• Ensure end-to-end background verification (BGV), standard documentation collection, and flawless candidate onboarding processes.
• Resolve candidate and client grievances professionally, escalating to leadership when necessary.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 7 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with at least 13 years in a team-handling or supervisory role.
• Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the BFSI ecosystem (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Insurance, NBFCs, and microfinance models).
• Education: Graduate in any stream; a Masters degree or MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is highly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding spoken and written English communication; strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
