Team Lead/ AM - HR

About the Role

TNQ Tech is looking for a Team Lead / Assistant Manager HR to manage Talent Acquisition, predominantly bulk/volume hiring, while also handling a range of HR activities and managing a small team.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR professional with strong recruitment expertise, the ability to manage hiring targets and stakeholders, and experience in handling employee-related HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Bulk Hiring

• Lead end-to-end recruitment with a strong focus on bulk and volume hiring for trainee, entry-level and experienced positions.
• Manage recruitment targets and ensure timely closure of open positions.
• Develop sourcing strategies through job portals, referrals, agencies, campus hiring, walk-ins and other channels.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for recurring and upcoming requirements.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments, offer rollouts, negotiations and joining formalities.
• Track and improve recruitment metrics including TAT, offer-to-join ratio, source effectiveness and ageing positions.
• Partner with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand manpower requirements and priorities.
• Handle candidate engagement and proactively manage offer dropouts and counter-offer situations.

Team Management

• Manage and guide a small team of recruiters/HR professionals.
• Allocate recruitment requirements and monitor individual/team performance against hiring targets.
• Mentor team members and support them in sourcing, screening, stakeholder coordination and offer closure.
• Ensure effective workload distribution and timely delivery of recruitment requirements.

Other HR Activities

• Support onboarding, employee engagement and employee connect initiatives.
• Handle employee queries and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
• Support attendance, confirmation, performance management and other employee lifecycle activities.
• Assist in HR reports, dashboards and people-related analytics.
• Support HR policies, processes, documentation and statutory/compliance-related activities.
• Participate in HR projects and process-improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with HRBPs, business managers and other support functions on people-related matters.

Candidate Profile

• 6- 10 years of experience in HR/Talent Acquisition, with significant exposure to bulk or volume hiring.
• Experience managing a small TA/HR team is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and hiring-manager coordination skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment requirements and meet hiring targets within timelines.
• Good understanding of employee lifecycle and general HR processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in IT, BPO/KPO, publishing, knowledge services or other volume-hiring environments will be an advantage.
