Team Lead - Admission (Telugu )

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Online Admissions team handling digital and inbound leads.
• Drive inbound and outbound lead engagement, qualification, and enrolment conversions.
• Build and manage a strong admissions pipeline for online programs.
• Ensure high lead-to-counselling and lead-to-enrolment conversion rates.
• Coach team members on need analysis, program pitching, and objection handling.
• Monitor daily admissions metrics including call productivity, follow-ups, and enrolments.
• Coordinate with Marketing to optimize digital lead flow and campaign performance.
• Work closely with Academic and Student Support teams for seamless onboarding.
• Handle escalations and support closures for high-value or priority applicants.
• Ensure CRM hygiene, accurate reporting, and adherence to admissions processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
• 4–8 years of experience in online admissions, inside sales, or business development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing an admissions/sales team.
• Strong expertise in lead qualification, funnel management, and enrolment conversion.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
• Data-driven approach with strong CRM and reporting knowledge.
• Experience in EdTech or online education environments is a plus.
