Role & Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics and English to Primary students
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Develop students’ conceptual understanding, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence.
• Prepare worksheets, class activities, assessments, and learning resources.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide individual support where required.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and areas for improvement.
• Participate actively in school events, assemblies, academic activities, and co-curricular programmes.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and the academic team to enhance learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate academic records and follow school policies and procedures.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics, English
• B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
• Prior experience teaching Primary Grade students will be an advantage.
• Strong command of English communication and Mathematics concepts.
• Passionate about working with young learners and creating an engaging classroom experience.
• Good classroom management and student-handling skills.
• Creative, patient, enthusiastic, and child-friendly approach.
• Ability to use innovative teaching methods and digital learning resources.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Candidates who can take responsibility and contribute beyond classroom teaching will be preferred.
