Purpose of Role
To build a strong mathematical foundation in alignment with the Cambridge Primary framework by developing number sense, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning. The role encourages curiosity and confidence through engaging, real-life learning experiences. Teacher - Mathematics - Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum framework.
- Foster foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking through age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that supports active participation.
- Regularly assess student progress, maintain records, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Address varied learning needs by adapting teaching methods and resources.
- Maintain open, professional communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.
- Participate in training, workshops, and continuous professional development opportunities.
- Support the holistic development of students by fostering values, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Maintain lesson plans, student records, and contribute to school events and activities

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- 2-4 years of relevant teaching experience in teaching primary grades
- Should have master s degree in mathematics
- Having experience in handling Cambridge curriculum will be advantageous
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to simplify mathematical concepts for young learners.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to integrate inquiry-based learning, hands-on activities, and digital tools to enhance engagement.
- Commitment to student-centered teaching, differentiated instruction, and continuous professional growth.
