Job Description Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)

Location: Chennai
Experience: 6 to 12 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)/IBM Workload Scheduler environments.
• Schedule, manage, and troubleshoot batch jobs and workload automation processes.
• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of TWS components.
• Monitor job execution, resolve failures, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Create and maintain job streams, calendars, dependencies, and workflows.
• Work with application, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve scheduling issues.
• Implement automation and process improvements to optimize workload management.
• Prepare operational documentation and support production activities.

Required Skills:

• Hands on experience in Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)/IBM Workload Scheduler.
• Strong knowledge of workload automation, batch processing, and job scheduling.
• Experience in TWS installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of scheduling concepts, calendars, job dependencies, and workflow management.
• Experience in incident management and production support.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
