Job Description Robot Batch Job Engineer

Location: Chennai
Experience: 8-10 Years.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robotic batch jobs and automation workflows.
• Monitor and manage scheduled batch processes in production environments.
• Troubleshoot job failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with business and technical teams for automation requirements.
• Optimize existing automation processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to operational, security, and compliance standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
• Provide L2/L3 support for automation-related incidents and service requests.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar platforms.
• Experience with batch job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, TWS, etc.
• Good knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Shell Scripting.
• Experience in production support, monitoring, and incident management.
• Understanding of workflow automation, process optimization, and integration concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
