Position: VMware Administrator
Experience: 6-8 Years
Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and support VMware vSphere infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.
• Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, clusters, resource pools, and virtual machines.
• Perform VM provisioning, migration, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity, and availability.
• Implement and manage VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, and Storage vMotion.
• Troubleshoot virtualization-related incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Work closely with storage, backup, network, and server teams for infrastructure operations.
• Participate in change management, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, security policies, and ITIL processes.

Required Skills:

• 6-8 years of experience in VMware Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
• Experience in managing VMware clusters, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
• Good knowledge of virtual networking, distributed switches, and storage integration.
• Experience with VM performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions in VMware environments.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
