Location - Chennai Exp - 8-10 years Skills - Oracle DBA

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c/21c).
• Design and manage high-availability solutions: Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, GoldenGate.
• Perform advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and instance performance tuning (AWR, ASH, OEM).
• Implement and manage RMAN backup, restore, cloning, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Lead platform upgrades, PSU/CPU patching, version migrations, and infrastructure refresh.
• Architect and support Oracle workloads across on-prem, Exadata, ODA, or cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Linux, storage, and network teams to optimize the full database stack.
• Implement automation for provisioning, patching, compliance, and monitoring (Shell/Python/Ansible).
• Ensure database security: encryption, auditing, access control, and CIS hardening.
• Manage capacity planning, performance monitoring, and incident/problem resolution.
• Create and maintain architecture documents, SOPs, deployment standards, and runbooks.
• Provide L3 support for production-critical issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor junior DBAs and contribute to technical design reviews.
