Job Description: F5 Load Balancer Engineer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 8-10 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and support F5 BIG-IP LTM environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot virtual servers, pools, monitors, SNATs, NATs, iRules, and SSL profiles.
• Perform application load balancing and traffic management activities.
• Handle SSL certificate installation, renewal, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor F5 infrastructure performance and ensure high availability.
• Implement changes, upgrades, and patch management for F5 devices.
• Troubleshoot network and application connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams for issue resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, NAT, and networking concepts.
• Experience in configuring iRules, health monitors, persistence profiles, and VIPs.
• Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery configurations.
• Experience with troubleshooting application delivery and load balancing issues.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools.
