Job Description

The Associate - Procurement & Vendor Master will be responsible for supporting procurement operations, vendor master activities, purchase order management, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires strong analytical skills, procurement process knowledge, and the ability to manage supplier and requester interactions while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and service level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Validate purchase requisitions and convert approved requisitions into Purchase Orders.
• Manage Vendor Master-related activities and maintain data accuracy.
• Run standard reports using reporting tools and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve procurement-related queries from requesters and suppliers.
• Follow up with stakeholders for approvals related to Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
• Obtain and track Purchase Order confirmations from suppliers.
• Perform PO expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Interact daily with buyers, requesters, suppliers, and stakeholders through email and phone.
• Validate approvals, compliance requirements, and checklists before dispatching Purchase Orders.
• Process Purchase Order amendments after obtaining necessary stakeholder approvals.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve procurement exceptions.
• Report and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Maintain quality, accuracy, and Turnaround Time (TAT) as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Support continuous process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
