Responsibilities

• Advise clients on corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate tax matters across a variety of engagements and industries.
• Serve as the primary engagement leader responsible for client management, billing, realization, and collections activities.
• Define engagement scope, objectives, and methodologies while collaborating closely with client leadership to identify tax planning and advisory opportunities.
• Lead and perform final reviews of federal, state, local, foreign, corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions.
• Monitor, interpret, and apply U.S. tax laws and regulations to support accurate and compliant tax filings.
• Provide technical leadership on complex tax matters and support resolution of engagement-related issues.
• Leverage technology, tools, and available resources to improve engagement quality, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Mentor, coach, and develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff across technical tax knowledge, client management, and engagement execution.
• Support business development activities including networking, client expansion, and new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and trusted advisory support.
• Manage multiple client engagements and priorities while ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting or related field required; EA Certification Mandate.
• CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in U.S. Taxation required.
• Previous experience within a public accounting or professional services environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.
• Minimum 4 years of experience leading, mentoring, and developing team members.
• Experience supporting large, multi-state, and internationally active middle-market clients preferred.
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
• Flexibility to travel as needed for client and business requirements.
