Tax Representative (US Taxation) WFH

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Tax Representative 2 to support US Payroll Tax Operations. The ideal candidate will manage payroll tax notices, communicate with tax agencies, support payroll tax compliance, and ensure timely resolution of payroll tax-related issues for multiple US clients.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in US Payroll Tax, Payroll Compliance, HRO, PEO, or Payroll Processing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage IRS and State Tax notices
• Log, categorize and assign agency correspondence
• Research payroll tax issues and provide resolutions
• Respond to payroll tax notices and audit requests
• Coordinate with payroll teams and clients
• Communicate with regulatory agencies when required
• Support internal and external clients through email and phone
• Maintain payroll tax documentation
• Recommend process improvements
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State Payroll Tax regulations

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of Payroll experience
• Experience in US Payroll Tax preferred
• Payroll Tax Compliance

• Strong MS Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
