Job Description
We are looking for an experienced US Tax Preparer with hands-on experience in Drake software. The candidate should have practical knowledge of preparing Individual and Business Tax Returns and a good understanding of US Federal and State taxation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare US Federal and State Tax Returns using Drake software.
- Prepare Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040) and Business Tax Returns (Forms 1120, 1120-S, and 1065).
- Review tax documents, including W-2, 1099, K-1, and 1098.
- Identify missing documents, discrepancies, and inconsistencies in client information.
- Review tax returns for accuracy and resolve basic Drake Tax diagnostics.
- Manage multiple tax returns and ensure timely completion.
Required Skills
- 2-4 years of hands-on US Tax Preparation experience.
- Mandatory Experience using Drake software.
- Experience preparing both Individual and Business Tax Returns.
- Knowledge of US Federal and State taxation, tax forms, deductions, and credits.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work the US Night Shift from the Hyderabad office.
