Job Overview:The Manager will lead and oversee the taxation and accounting functions for clients, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with clients, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tax and audit-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of accounting and taxation professionals to deliver high-quality services and meet deadlines.
• Understand client and project requirements in coordination with senior management and communicate effectively with the team.
• Oversee finalization of accounts ensuring compliance with accounting standards, Companies Act 2013, and income tax laws.
• Supervise preparation and timely filing of tax audit reports, income tax returns, TDS and GST returns.
• Review responses to notices from regulatory authorities and ensure appropriate follow-ups.
• Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and clients to resolve queries and ensure smooth audits.
• Analyse accounting data including assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure accurate preparation of MIS reports and financial statements including cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with Certification 15CA/CB and DTAA guidelines.
• Provide expert Income Tax and GST consultation to clients.
• Manage GST reconciliations and supervise GSTR-9/9C filings.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance across taxation and accounting functions.
• Mentor and train junior staff to build technical capabilities and improve team performance.
• Monitor project timelines and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery of client assignments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-10 years of relevant experience, including managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of income tax, GST, TDS, and DTAA.
• Proficiency in Excel, and accounting software.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
