Tax Intern

Job Description:

Job Title: Taxation Intern (Direct & Indirect Tax)

Duration: 6 months (Full-Time conversion after that)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Taxation Intern to support our finance team in handling both direct and indirect tax compliances. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to tax filings, documentation, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Tax:

• Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns 
• Support in TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations and filings 
• Help in maintaining tax records and documentation 
• Assist in responding to notices and basic tax assessments 

Indirect Tax:

• Support in GST return preparation and filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) 
• Assist in reconciliation of GST data with financial records 
• Help track input tax credit (ITC) and vendor compliance 
• Maintain proper records for audits and compliance 

General Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all tax-related data 
• Assist in tax audits and internal reviews 
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations 
• Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and validation
