Tax Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations: Maintain general ledger, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and oversee monthly/annual closing.
• Tax Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, income tax filings, and ensure timely submission of statutory returns.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheet, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors, provide necessary documentation, and ensure compliance.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Process Improvement: Identify gaps in accounting processes and recommend automation or efficiency measures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.Com/M.Com/CA/ICWA or equivalent.
• Experience: 2–5 years in accounting and taxation
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, corporate tax, and accounting standards (Ind-AS/IFRS).
• Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving.
