Tank Farm Operator

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor Tank Farm operations including storage, transfer, and handling of chemicals / fuels / liquids.
  
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of tankers as per SOP and safety standards.
  
• Monitor tank levels, temperature, pressure, and flow rates regularly.
  
• Operate pumps, valves, pipelines, and associated equipment safely.
  
• Maintain daily log books, inventory records, and transfer reports.
  
• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
  
• Identify leakages, abnormalities, or unsafe conditions and report immediately.
  
• Follow safety procedures, MSDS guidelines, and emergency response protocols.
  
• Support statutory inspections, audits, and compliance requirements.
  
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety signage in tank farm area.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Tank Farm Operator.
  
• Basic understanding of chemical handling, pumps, pipelines, and safety systems.
  
• Knowledge of safety practices, PPE usage, and emergency procedures.
  
• Willingness to work in shift duties.
  
• Good discipline, coordination skills, and site work experience.
